As a low chill variety, it is well-suited to the drier northern areas of New Zealand, as well as other regions across the country.

This charming little tree is both highly ornamental and very productive. In spring, it showcases beautiful pink blossoms that transform into medium-sized, sweet nuts enclosed in soft, well-sealed shells.
